FEELINGS

Many times in our lives, we love the people who come into our world, and slowly a deep closeness grows with them. Gradually, we begin to expect them to be the way we imagine. We hope they become the way we want them to be. We want them to think like us, feel like us, and change according to our expectations.
But the truth is—just as we exist in our own way, every person lives in their own world. No one is exactly as we imagine them to be. They too carry a world within them—filled with their own joys and sorrows, likes and dislikes, emotions and silent struggles.
When we try to shape someone according to our wishes, we unknowingly begin to lose them little by little. Because love does not mean changing someone. Love means accepting them.
Maybe they are not perfect. Maybe they are not the way we imagined. But they are real. And it is the courage to accept people as they truly are that makes relationships deeper and stronger.
We should allow the people we love to be themselves, not who we want them to be. Because a true relationship survives only when expectations decrease and understanding increases.
Just as we do not want to change according to someone else’s imagination, we should not try to change others. Instead, we should learn to feel them, understand them, and accept them as they are.
